Variations
Robur
The most common type of Human, Robur humans are physically stronger than their Magus counterparts— Robur Humans are believed to have been blessed by Adonius himself. Beyond Robur Humans having a tendency to be able to grow physically stronger in general, Robur Humans are generally far more endurant than their kin. Robur Humans generally have far smaller mana pools than their Magus counterparts and generally possess shorter ranges in their spells, resulting in many Robur focusing on specifically melee-based spells. Their proficiency in such spells is generally enhanced, although like all Humans, Robur generally do not have an innate racial magic. They are notably more physically stronger than their counterparts as well and possess more stamina, greater constitution, and generally more athletic builds; they make for strong soldiers, farmers, and other medial worker positions. Oftentimes, Robur Humans compose much of the peasant class, especially in non-Stellaterian nations— although most nobles are tolerant of having Robur children, especially depending on their heritage, many working class households purposefully avoid marrying into Magus bloodlines, which are often constrained to priesthood or desperate pursuits of knowledge. Robur have certain physiological differences that are distinct from Magus Humans and they will be discussed in greater detail within a future section, as they are rather minor and are generally negligible.
Magus
Magus, in contrast, are far more considerably talented with magic, as they have greater magic pools, however, like Robur, they have no innate magic. Magus and Robur Humans oftentimes argue over which one came first, however, whilst both agree Humanity was created by Alyriana, Magus claim to be blessed by her wisdom and wit. Being a Magus Human appears to be passed down through a gene of some sort— the general belief (and what has been witnessed the most) is that mothers pass down this particular gene and only them alone unless the child is a half-breed, although it is not guaranteed to occur consistently. It is believed that Humans are, by nature, Robur without it. Most 'Magus' Humans are actually hybrid Robur, thus resulting in the studies of what exactly produces the Magus gene in Humans, but due to the limited nature of modern genetics, tracing it within a lineage is difficult. Magus Humans are generally more slender and lithe with rather undefined muscle mass— they are generally weaker than their Robur kin and sometimes faster, although not always. Magus Humans have a notably greater skill with magic, greater magical potency, and generally have longer ranges, with the more pronounced the Magus blood resulting in greater magical potency. Within societies, being a Magus is generally preferred amongst the elite, but frowned upon within the working class, as their lesser constitution generally results in most being 'less skilled' in medial labour. Magus have certain physiological differences that are distinct from Robur Humans and they will be discussed in greater detail within a future section, as they are rather minor and are generally negligible.
List of Potential Bloodlines by Region
Note that these Bloodlines are listed by commonality— some, such as Giant and Daiesthai, are incredibly rare, with the latter being almost impossible to find within a human populace. Read Bloodlines for more information on what they provide.

Typical Appearances
Robur have certain physiological differences that are distinct from Magus Humans— they are predominantly found within their skulls, pelvises, and builds. Robur are generally broader and more muscular in build— they also generally have slightly proportionally shorter limbs, believed to be the result of Magus Humans potentially innately having faint Fae blood due to the high presence of Fae within their region of origin, Aleria. Magus Humans have slightly more narrow pelvises, slightly less defined brows, and higher, wider skulls than Robur, however, these differences are generally less pronounced in those with Robur blood. This causes Magus Humans to be less robust, slightly more prone to dying in childbirth, and they generally are more likely to suffer from broken bones, although the difference in durability is negligible, almost inconsequential. Rarely, Magus Humans lack defined pupils or scleras, causing their eyes to look like they are entirely coloured. Humans generally take on aspects of their bloodlines very visibly, thus resulting in most demi-Humans and Human-kin to appear very distinct from ordinary Humans, although it should be noted that any Human-hybrid who is half another race is generally not classified as Human.
