Variants

There are a few notable dialects of Zalqudox, ignoring the difference between speakers in age and time— most of these are derived specifically from location to location, rather than varying amongst species. Zalqudox is denoted for the fact that it rarely changes from species to species and due to the longevity of its speakers due to their bodies being incapable of collapsing underneath their own form, it has remained quite consistent over the years, with even the most ancient of its speaker being capable of understanding and being understood by modern speakers.

Voyonoka

Derived from the Zalqudox word 'Voyorok' in reference to the deeply pious nature of the people of Vasterioth to the Death Gods, Voyonoka is known for emphasizing hard constants further and its harsh, guttural pronunciations. Most claim that speakers of Voyonoka Zalqudox tend to speak louder and clearer, with the way they pronounce words causing them to distinctively echo throughout large areas— whether or not this is stereotyping or true is dependent on the listener. Although Vasterioth is historically two different somewhat culturally distinct states, communication and similar cultures resulted in roughly the same dialect being used in both Charios in Vastare— this, however, does not change the fact that Voyonoka has distinct slang depending on which half of Vasterioth one is located in, with lower caste Cambions being the most prone to using more informal terms than any other speaker.
